How We Work

Your Initial Ideas

A client contacts us (phone, email or at our workshop) to outline the project. Daniel will visit you at your home to discuss your ideas and requirements. Measurements will be taken and architectural influences with be taken into consideration.

Daniels Interpretation of your Requirements

Daniel will produce an initial floor plan and provide you with a cost estimate; this will be a guide price only. The total amount payable will depend on many factors e.g appliances, materials used, use of tradesmen to prepare a room ready for fitting electricians, plumbers, plasterers etc).

Consultation Period

If you would like to proceed a design consultation will be arranged and we will request a 10 % deposit. This will secure your time slot for us to make the furniture and allocate approximate delivery and fitting dates. Throughout the design consultation process (which may take place over a few meetings) we will work together to refine all details of the project. This will include detailed design, confirmation of materials to be used, appliances and organisation of tradesmen if required. You will be kept informed of all costing as we move through the design consultation process. Following on from the consultation a detailed plan and perspective drawings will be released. A final quote will be given with a breakdown of all costs and a schedule of events will be agreed which will outline timings of activity.

Handcraft your Furniture at our Workshop and Project Manage

To begin making your furniture and organise the logistics of your project (ordering of materials and appliances etc) we will require a 40% payment. Our clients are welcome to visit our workshop to see how the furniture is being produced and confirm how they would like it to be finished.

Delivery and Fitting of your Furniture

Prior to the delivery of your furniture a further 40% payment is requested. We will arrange for the furniture to be delivered, it will be assembled and wrapped. Your furniture will be fitted to the highest possible standards by Daniel or trusted experienced fitters.

Completion

When the project is complete the final 10% is payable. The project will be inspected by Daniel and he will ensure that you are completely satisfied. If you will allow us we will take photographs that may be used on our website or for other marketing purposes.
